The new system will cost PTE 1.2 billion and will cover 800 buses and 200 stops.

Confirming the news that Comunicações announced in its March edition, Carris and the consortium formed by Efacec, Radiomóvel and Tecmic have signed a contract for the implementation of an Operational Support System at stops.
Representing a total investment of PTE 1.2 billion, the system, which is expected to be operational in the first quarter of next year, will supply information to the public via panels to be installed at main stops (showing destination and time to next bus), as well as providing management of the fleet and ensuring compliance with the timetable.
