Motorola has once again recognised the quality of the applications developed by Tecmic running over TETRA (Digital Trunking) certifying them as “TETRA System Application Partner”.

Currently, Tecmic develops and markets solutions for fleet management (XTraN), remote equipment management (SIMOR), access management (SIGA) and the management of selective waste recycling containers (Ecogest).

XTraN is their best-known product and its various versions are aimed at the planning and supervision of all types of fleets. Some of Tecmic’s fleet management customers at a national level are Carris, Transportes Luís Simões, CTT – Portuguese Post Office, and Bank of Portugal, among others.

Using information transmitted from on-board IT systems by means of any available communications networks (GSM, GPRS, Trunking, TETRA, Analogue PMR, Standard-C) customers’ back-office systems receive a rich variety of information on activities in progress in real time, allowing optimisation of procedures.

This partnership between Tecmic and Motorola has helped to consolidate the internationalisation process of this Portuguese company, who is now currently represented in the US, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, UK and South Africa.
