Tecmic’s systems support taxi drivers

Security, comfort and efficiency of public transport is one of the major aims of Tecmic, which on the following 17 and 18 July will present, at the Taxi Day at the Parque das Nações, their latest and most sophisticated electronic security system for taxi services.
This fleet management system, known as XtraN, allows the position and heading of a vehicle fleet to be determined in real time by satellite, as well as providing continuous communication with the company’s fleet. In case of emergency, such as assault or accident, the driver presses a button which causes an alarm signal to be sent to the control centre. This may also be triggered automatically. The system may also be connected directly to the emergency services or to the rest of the vehicle fleet.
